Beverly Hills Chihuahua
Rated PG
91 Minutes
Nicole’s Rating: B
I know what you’re thinking when you see the title of this, “Why would you spend your money on this?” I even thought that when I bought the tickets to see it, but man was I wrong about this flick. I needed a good pick me up film and this one score big time!

A rich Beverly Hills business woman (Jamie Lee Curtis) is been called away for trip that will separate her and her most precious possession for a couple of weeks. That precious possession is Chloe her spoiled Chihuahua. She leaves Chloe in the hands of her niece, who then goes on a vacation to Mexico where she fails her duty to take care of Chloe when she is then dog-napped and put into a dog fighting ring. Escaping this near tragedy, that’s when all the adventure starts.
There was many talented voice actors that came into play in this movie: Drew Barrymore, Andy Garcia, George Lopez, Cheech Marin and Placido Domingo just to name a few. And I was very surprised about the lip-syncing for the animals, it was very well done. The story was a very cute one, I’m sure there’s something that everyone can relate to, through the eyes of a dog. Plus, there were some very well humane messages for the older audience.
This movie is great for a laugh, great for families and great for anyone that is an animal lover. Don’t pass this one over; I’m sure you’ll find it as enjoyable as I did. I give it two paws up!

I thought you were waiting for the dollar movies.
I was with a friend who needed cheering up and she requested it. No worries, I'll see it again!
